It is called <strong>J\u00f6kuls\u00e1rl\u00f3n<\/strong> or <strong>Blue lagoon<\/strong>. This lagoon has become one of the most popular attractions in Iceland due to its stunning beauty. Thousands of people usually travel to J\u00f6kuls\u00e1rl\u00f3n throughout the year to watch the free-flowing glaciers, explore the lagoon on boat trips and, if lucky catch a glimpse of wild seals. With a maximum depth of 248 meters J\u00f6kuls\u00e1rl\u00f3n is the deepest lake in Iceland. It is connected to the ocean and therefore consists of a mixture of sea and fresh water which causes its unique color. <strong>Seals can be seen in J\u00f6kuls\u00e1rl\u00f3n all year round but in winter they flock to the mouth of the lagoon to catch fish<\/strong>.
