Gili Meno belongs to a group of 3 Gili islands. It is located near Lombok island, few hours boat ride from Bali. While Gili Trawangan is famous for its party vibes, Gili Meno is the opposite. The island offers calm relaxing vibes. It’s favorite destination for couples and honeymooners.

In order to enjoy your time on Gili Meno the most we advise you to come during high season between June and September. Winter months are a rainy season here. While you might get better offers and prices, the rain might ruin your plans a bit.

2. Go snorkeling
You can snorkel almost anywhere around the island! Once you swim a few meters from the shore you will find many colorful corals. But the biggest highlight of snorkelling at Gili Meno are sea turtles! We recommend snorkelling in front of Divine Divers. You can also rent a boat or join a group boat tour to visit different sites.
3. Underwater statues
These might be one of the most famous things to do on Gili Meno. Famous underwater statues can be found right Bask resort. To enjoy this place come as early as possible, before 7am. When we came people and boat tours started to come at 7:30am. After 15 minutes it was not even possible to enjoy being there.
4. Try scuba diving or get Padi certified
Seriously, you can’t skip this one! You will find few different dive shops on Gili islands. We joined Divine Divers for our first dive ever. It was such an incredible experience. Instructors are friendly and professional. They made sure our first dive was a lot of fun and we enjoyed it to the max. They also provide PADI courses. It’s an experience you won’t forget!
5. Go on a boat trip to visit other Gili islands
In case you don’t have time to stay on other islands you can simply rent a boat for a day. Most of the boat trips are snorkeling trips with some stops on the islands. There are shorter and longers trips. An interesting experience is also going with a glass bottom boat.
6. Bike around the island
Best things about Gili island is that there are no cars and no scooters! The only way to get around is by using a horse cart or bicycle. Renting bikes costs between 30-50k per day. It’s an amazing feeling to bike around and enjoy the views of turquoise waters and other islands.
