It is a tourist hub and all main attractions are around. It is also where you will find many hotels. We used Uber in Mumbai and it was very easy and hassle-free. Unfortunately, <strong>we didn&#8217;t have much luck using Uber in Jodhpur<\/strong>. It allowed us to select a drop-off point but we waited ages for a drives which was never assigned. At least you can check what the prices should be. <strong>From the train station we got a ride for around 100-150 INR. The Clock Tower itself is in the middle of a square. It was built around 200 years ago \u00a0and it is quite impressive building. It is also possible to go up to the top of the tower. The entrance should be <strong>for free<\/strong> and it is open between 10am and 6pm. We didn&#8217;t go up there so we can&#8217;t comment on that. In the evenings the whole tower is lit up!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ec33dd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9ec33dd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>What is more interesting is the <strong>local market<\/strong> surrounding this clock tower. You will find many <strong>different types of products<\/strong> here. There are bags, pottery, many clothes, textiles and different kinds of souvenirs. Prices are also pretty good, especially if you bargain. At that time most of the shops are already open and it is quite calm. Later it keeps getting more and more crowded. We came here later in the afternoon and it was <strong>overwhelming<\/strong>. There was just <strong>way too many scooters and people<\/strong>. Gulab Sagar is actually a <strong>lake<\/strong>. Or more accurate &#8211; 2 lakes split with a bridge. It is perfect for some relax. It&#8217;s close to clock tower but not busy at all. You can see the majestic Mehrangarh fort from here. The water in the lake is quite contaminated and can be smelly. There is also a few guesthouses with cheap prices! It is a bit out of sight in one of the side streets. Only a few minutes of walk from Clock Tower. This is the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/GWTNAHPcDFUo2dVw6\">exact location of Dylan&#8217;s rooftop<\/a>. It is <strong>amazing place to have an afternoon coffee or even some breakfast.<\/strong> It is definitely a bit more expensive then streetfood but definitely worth it! You will probably not find Kunj Bihari in many Jodhpur travel guides. It is very close to Clock Tower. There is <strong>no entrance fee and no tourists either.<\/strong> Definitely worth a visit! And not too far from it there is another <strong>temple connected with a hotel<\/strong>. On your way here you might notice light purple stoupas sticking out amongst other buildings. It is called <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/RAkMK57jaKmyE15L9\">Nirvana home<\/a>. Do not hesitate to walk up the stairs and check it out. The staff will welcome you warmly! We met the highest number of white tourists here. <strong>It can get a bit crowded.<\/strong> If you plan to take some nice photos <strong>come earlier in the morning.<\/strong> The water here is very green and definitely not a place you want to swim in. It is full of fish, too. Be careful when walking up and down the stairs and <strong>DO NOT STEP on the green stairs<\/strong>. They are extremely slippery and it is easy to fall. For some reason, we didn&#8217;t actually plan to go there. It is also a bit far from the Clock Tower. Anyway, we accidentally ended up here when we were looking for a <strong>good restaurant for lunch<\/strong>. We didn&#8217;t try any sweets, but we had really delicious food in the upstairs food corner! And it was pretty cheap, too! The oil in which it is made seems like it desperately needs to be changed and the hygiene seemed questionable. Many locals were eating here and we gave it a go, too.
