Bus line 100e
The cheapest way is bus line 100e which connects airport with Deák Ferénc station in the city center. From there you can catch a metro in multiple directions. Buses are quite frequent. They run every 7-10 minutes a day depending on the hour. In the night the bus goes every 30-40 minutes. You can find the exact schedule HERE. The ticket for this bus costs only 1500 HUF which is around 3.7€. You can get the ticket at every metro or bus station from ticket machine. It is also possible to pay with card. The bus ride takes around 40 minutes.
Bus line 200e
There is another bus running between the airport and the city – 200e. This bus goes to Kobánya Kispest train station. If you need to get to city center from there, metro line 3 will take you there. This bus also runs 24h a day. The tickets work the same way as for the bus 100e.

Taxi
Of course, if the bus schedule doesn’t fit your plans or you prefer the easier way, you can always take a taxi. The taxi between airport and city center should cost around 20-25€.
Other shuttle buses
There is a few other shuttle bus services connecting airport with the city. You can expect to pay more for them. But we don’t think it is really worth it. You won’t save much time but rather you’ll spend more money.
