Reykjanes
Overlooked by tourists many times. But Reykjanes peninsula also has a lot to offer. There are many hidden gems and the great thing is that there are not as many people here as in other places. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to go through it all, but we definitely want to come back here.

During the summer, there are fewer tourists in the Reykjanes area than on the south coast of Iceland. Prices for accommodation and car rental are higher. The advantage is that you will have enough light, so you will be able to go on your adventures even at night.
During the winter in the Reykjanes area, you can prepare for snow storms and fewer tourists. You can experience adventures that will not be available during other seasons. The whole country will be covered with snow and travel will be more complicated.
Spring in Iceland starts in March. It is the time when nature and wildlife come alive. There are fewer tourists, temperature is slowly rising and there is more and more daylight. Snow begins to melt. In autumn there is a lot of rain and days are getting darker and shorter. Grass turns orange.
